Jump Rope for Heart
Our school will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart! Students will take part in fun, active stations during their PE classes while learning about heart health. We are also working toward a school fundraising goal of $2000 to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. If you would like to contribute, donations can be made through this linkor by creating your own child’s fundraising page to support efforts! Thank you for helping us promote healthy, active lifestyles and for donating to this cause!
Book Fair Wrap-up –
Thank you to the many families who stopped by our recent Scholastic book fair. Your enthusiastic shopping means funds will be available for purchasing many new books for our library over the next year. We very much appreciate the volunteers who gave their time to support the fair. Congratulations to our draw prize winners: Emma (Room 3), Emily (Room 4), Harlow (Room 13) and Simon (Room 26).
Save the Date – Div 1 Spring Concert –April 9th
We are excited for the live afternoon and evening performances for Grade 1, 2, and 3 students on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Afternoon Performance
- Date: Thursday, April 9
- Time: 2:15 p.m.
- Students will perform for older grades, and families are welcome to attend. Seating will be available for those who wish to join us.
Evening Performance
- Date: Thursday, April 9
- Student arrival: 6:00 p.m. (students should go to their homerooms for attendance)
- Showtime: 6:30 p.m.
Our Grade 1–3 students have been working hard in their music classes, and we are excited for you to see their performances. Grade 1-3 students are encouraged to review the practice videos that have been sent by Mrs. Tran. If your child in Grades 1–3 will be unable to attend, please contact Mrs. Tran at lmtran@cbe.ab.ca at your earliest convenience. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Outstanding School Fees
This a reminder that families with outstanding school fees can pay them through their MyCBE account. Typically, the only fees that are school-based are ones that are associated with field trips. These trips are run on a cost recovery basis as we are required to pay for things such as transportation and service provider costs. Unpaid fees can result in a significant impact on the programming we offer at our school such as; limiting our ability to provide student technology, art supplies, library books and various student resources. For your convenience, payment options of credit and debit are available online through your MyCBE account. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the main office.
