Student Devices

This is a friendly reminder that, under the Government of Alberta’s mobile device standards, students are not permitted to use cell phones, smartwatches, or other personal mobile devices during class time. All devices must be powered off and stored out of sight for the school day to support a focused learning environment, unless a teacher provides explicit permission for a specific educational purpose or if a documented medical exemption applies.

Field Trip Payments

With several field trips approaching, we would like to remind families to submit all associated fees through the MyCBE Account online payment system. Field trips play a valuable role in student learning, offering meaningful, hands‑on experiences that go beyond what can be done in the classroom. When fees remain unpaid, the school is left covering the shortfall. Last year, this added up to several thousand dollars. To ensure we can continue providing these enriching opportunities, we ask families to stay current with their payments. If you have questions or need help with the online system, or have challenges covering the fee, please contact the school office. We appreciate your support and cooperation.

No School for Students – Teachers’ Convention & Family Day

Just a quick reminder that there’s no school for students on Thursday, February 12, or Friday, February 13 while staff attend the Calgary City Teachers’ Convention. Plus, Monday, February 16 is Family Day, so enjoy the extra‑long weekend with your loved ones!

Classes are back on Tuesday, February 17.
