Let's Keep the Momentum Going—Help Build Our New Playground!

As we wrap up another fantastic school year, the Olympic Heights School Council and Parents Association would like to thank our students, families, teachers, and staff for their support. We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing summer! We are excited to continue moving forward with our playground revitalization project, which includes plans for an inclusive new playground featuring accessible surfacing, a new main play structure, and enhancements to some of our current favourites. As we prepare for fundraising this fall, we are seeking community feedback to help shape the final design and support our goal of making this playground a reality by Summer 2027. If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the Playground Community Survey. The survey will remain open throughout the summer, and we greatly appreciate your input. Thank you for helping us create a playground that will support play, connection, and community for Olympic Heights students for years to come. Have a wonderful summer!

Olympic Heights School's TRC Commitment for 2026-2027

In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 and in alignment with the CBE Education Plan, Olympic Heights School proudly reaffirms its commitment to advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Building on the learning and relationships established this year, we will continue our focus on Call to Action 63.3 by deepening opportunities for students and staff to learn from and through Indigenous perspectives, knowledges, and ways of being. Through this work, we aim to further nurture understanding, empathy, respect, and meaningful relationships within our school community.
